I decided to make the big step and buy a Sprinter Van and then when I realized that after the purchase price and toys I wanted, I would have to spend a lot more money to upfit the van. Now here is my question: Who was I going to trust to work on my ultimate adventure toy? Who would have the experience and care to transform it into the perfect adventure ride? I understand that many take it as a DIY project but many of us do not have the time, tools and space to deal with it. I found Robert / Kon Tiki Conversions through a recommendation and it was a real pleasure to get to know him and be able to call him a friend. He is passionate about what he is doing and his attention to detail is second to none. Communication is very important, and Robert definitely checks this box. Not only does he find the time to research the latest and greatest but he is also awesome at recommending what works in real life based on your needs. After spending some money on the Sprinter and traveling through Central America, it became obvious why you want the best to work on your van. Doing things cheaply is a really bad idea when it comes to conversions.
